I have only been here for a short time but I would definitely recommend Cocoon as one of the best home care companies to work for in London, Ontario. You get to have a boss that cares about their employees, collaborative colleagues and a decent salary. All this while doing work that is satisfying and helping seniors to stay in their homes. Awhile back I was in need of help for my father's care; I stumbled on 'Cocoon'.
A year later I decided to return to the health care field and remembering Cocoon's great service I decided to apply.

Many of us are natural caregivers. We don’t always consider it as a career. We give all the time to our families, our friends in need, our daily work loads etc. People say, “You are such a loving and giving person.” But I bet you haven’t considered expanding that outside the home and make a living. You could be such a huge contribution to the seniors in our community who are in need. The best part is you get just as much back from the relationships you make in the field. You will have to trust me on that until you see for yourself.

Those great meals you have been making for your family all of these years have made you a pretty good chef, and you enjoy cooking. Meal prep can sometimes be in order.
oh….and the laughs I have had with my senior clients. I’m not sure if as we get older we magically turn into comedians, or if we just don’t take life as seriously as we used to. Sitting with clients and having great conversations happen naturally as we build a relationship.
Occasionally, we may need to step out and get some groceries, pick up a prescription, or even take our clients to run a few errands.
