Cocoon Senior Services regularly provides private, short-term Personal Support Worker services for people visiting London and surrounding communities, including St. Thomas and Port Stanley.

Support can be arranged in a hotel, family home, event venue or other temporary accommodation and scheduled around the person’s needs and plans.

This is an established Cocoon service. We have experience coordinating single-event coverage, return visits the following day and recurring visits throughout a person’s stay.

Let us know the dates, locations, anticipated schedule and the type of assistance the person normally receives.

Discuss the person’s care needs

We will review personal care, mobility, routines, transportation, supervision and any other information needed to plan the visits properly.

Confirm the care plan and caregiver

When the service is appropriate and staffing is available, Cocoon will confirm the caregiver, visit times, locations and agreed responsibilities.

Coordinate the practical details

The family provides hotel information, room details when available, venue instructions, contact numbers and any access or transportation arrangements required.

Receive the scheduled support

The caregiver follows the agreed care plan, documents the visit and communicates important information according to the arrangements made with the family.

Advance booking is strongly recommended, particularly for weddings, weekends, holidays, transportation and visits requiring coverage on more than one day.

Yes. Hotel visits can be arranged for agreed personal-care and support needs. The family will need to provide the hotel information, room number when available and any instructions required for access.

Yes. Cocoon regularly arranges short-term and event-specific care. Depending on availability and the care plan, coverage may be booked for one visit, several parts of the same day or additional visits on following days.

Yes. Support may include showering, personal care, dressing, wedding attire, basic grooming and assistance with hair or makeup, depending on the person’s needs and the agreed care plan.
